Today’s Rune

In complete contrast almost to yesterday’s rune, today I have pulled Isa…

Where yesterday’s rune, Sowilo, is the Sun, Isa is Ice. Where as the sun removes things, ice holds things within itself and holds it in coldness and often darkness. Isa is associated with Nifelheim, the land of ice, and can be either a bonding and joining force or it can be terribly destructive. When looking at the more modern interpretation of Isa, we’re looking at “icy” personal conditions, dealing with coldness in situations and relationships and also the feelings of stagnation and being “frozen”. Depending on how it’s interpreted and what else surrounds it in a casting (since it’s not a “reversible” rune) this sense of freezing can be either holding one’s ground or a period of inactivity.

For me, this rune does hold some truth to how I’ve been feeling in a few aspects these days. I have been feeling a bit stuck and a bit “frozen” with things that I’ve been doing and trying to accomplish lately. Mainly these things have to do with work and feeling like I’m stuck in a big rut with clients and getting new business ideas off the ground. I’ve been wanting to add numerology readings and animal spirit guide readings to my list of services but have been feeling like this might not be the time and just haven’t even tried to give them a “test run”. I also haven’t been signing in or spending much time talking with respective clients this month so overall I have been very “frozen” in that regard and not even making any attempts to work with new people. I guess it’s time to try and break out of that otherwise this will likely keep going and become a trend…NOT something I want, that’s for sure!
