Ted Andrews crosses the veil

When it comes to authors that I have managed to amass a large number of books by over the years, Ted Andrews is one of the top authors in my library.  Ted’s books on animal magick are some of the best loved in the Wiccan community and are some of the most often used references for animal correspondences and animal magick.  Ted wrote on many different subjects including spirit and ancestor work, psychic development, healing, color magick, charm working, shapeshifting and Qabala.  Ted wrote well over 30 books and created several oracle decks over the years as well.  Ted was so respected for his writing and work with animals that he was invited to speak at the United Nations in New York in 2007.

On October 24, 2009, Ted Andrews crossed the veil and returned to the Great Mother.  His passing will leave a great void in many ways, especially because of his ability to bridge the gap between the Pagans and non-Pagans through his work with animals.

Be sure to light a candle for Ted this Samhain and aid in his crossing over and sending supportive, healing light to those who’s lives he has touched and the friends and family that he has left behind.

You can read more about Ted Andrews and his work on his page with Dragonhawk Publishing.
