Sometimes the cards come with a little bit of a snarky and smarmy feel. It’s not often that I feel that snappy, somewhat “in your face” feel when I do the tarotscopes but this week seemed to have a lot of that energy. This week everyone should take things with a grain of salt and give people a bit of extra room. It’s important to remember that the way we see things isn’t always how everyone else sees them, and they may never share our personal, unique vision. The key this week is to just be true to yourself. The cards used this week were Ciro Marchetti‘s wonderful Legacy of the Divine deck, a deck that everyone should have by now and if you don’t, treat yourself when the week is out. Aries Eight of Cups
Have you been wondering if something is missing lately? Like maybe something from your past that you turned down or walked away from seems to be haunting you now. Did you make the right decision? Are you in the place you are now because of what you DIDN’T do in the past? Are you feeling like things might be greener on the other side? This week don’t be surprised if you start to feel like you’re reaching out and grasping at something to fill a hole in your heart that you can’t explain. When you’re doing this be sure to think about why you’re reaching out. Why do you want to make changes and is it just time to move on to bigger and better things?
Taurus The Lovers
Oh, temptation…how it tempts us. When you’re not looking something seems to just grab your attention with a strong and unrelenting grip. But is temptation always all bad? Sometimes when we give in to temptation and we try something that we have told ourselves in the past that we needed to stay away from we learn something about ourselves that we other wise never might have discovered. If you find yourself tempted this week to do something that normally you’d not do, give it some genuine consideration. At the same time don’t compromise who you are; let this be a chance to explore who you are but not something that causes you to lose who you are.
Gemini Five of Wands
This week you may find things a little out of step with friends and family this week. You may find that just when you thought everything was fine and that all is well, something shifts. Things that you have been doing for months might suddenly bother someone and thoughts and emotions that they may have been holding back suddenly coming out, and coming out strong. Give your loved ones room to voice their thoughts and opinions and remember that they love you. Don’t let things get out of control and do your best to contain your own thoughts and feelings. Respond, don’t react.
Cancer Five of Cups
Accepting loss and moving forward can be some of the most difficult steps to take when we talk about picking up the pieces. But, the fact of the matter is, if we don’t do those things we remain in a state of depression and sadness with no end in sight. It’s easy to let that turn into a state of emotional paralysis. Don’t let disappointment from a failed relationship or a project that didn’t go as planned hold you back any longer. Brush aside the shattered pieces from those things that didn’t work out and allow yourself to see the beauty in what have rather than shedding tears over what you’ve lost.
Leo The Moon
This week you will find yourself looking at things around in a somewhat different light. You may find that this week things that have been being hidden from you start to be reveled. Secrets could start coming out of the most unlikely places and you may find yourself feeling little caught off guard. Take time this week to be gentle with yourself and those around you, especially if matters of the heart become affected by any sudden reveals. Dreams this week may be especially active and it’s quite possible that a nightmare or two could pop in. Make notes in the morning because it’s possible some of the answers to your true feelings about what’s going on around you will be found in those dreams.
Virgo The Tower
Any changes that you have been holding off on making because you didn’t want to go through the process or because you just felt like it wasn’t ever the right time are going to happen now, like it or not. Do yourself a favor and don’t to be the hero that goes down with the ship. Change happens for a reason and when we aren’t willing to make the changes ourselves the Universe has a way of forcing them on us. This week you might especially start to feel like where you’re living isn’t quite right for you, for one reason or another. Maybe it’s time to think about making a move before you find yourself forced to make one.
Libra Seven of Coins
Hard work is paying off and a little time off is going to be well deserved and on the way, but not quite yet. There is still more work to be done, but be sure that you’re not spending so much time patting yourself on the back about how well things have gone so far that you miss out on taking care of the vital last steps of your projects and work. Be proud of what you’ve done so far though! You’ve come a long way and worked hard. Let this week be a time for planning out how you’ll finish things off with a bang.
Scorpio Two of Coins
If anyone can balance things this week and keep everything moving along smoothly, it’ll be you. You’ll find yourself motivated this week to really get the ball rolling on more than one thing at once and as you start making the steps to do them, you find you’re more than capable of performing the necessary balancing act like a pro. You may find this week that your ability to keep finances at home under wraps challenged; trying to make sure the bills get paid while also being able to afford a vacation or something special will be tricky, but easily worked out. Remember to just go with the flow this week and any sudden waves will be easily overcome with grace and easy.
Sagittarius King of Coins
This week at home you will find that it’s time for you to fill the proverbial “King of the Castle” role. You might have to take care of some problems at home, get the kids in line (summer vacation is starting so you need to manage their time), work out some things on the job front, all things that demand your ability to lead and guide and get things done. But remember not to be too heavy handed. The kids are just being kids, money goes but it always comes back, and not everyone shares your strong work ethic. Be gentle and kind with those around you and you’ll get a much better reaction.
Capricorn Queen of Coins
You may find that searching within to try and find and unearth the proverbial “earth mother” mentality this week will be useful in dealing with those around you that can’t seem to help themselves. Keep in mind that, unlike you, not everyone wants to be well; some people wear their illnesses and dysfunctions like a life jacket while the Titanic is sinking. Instead of trying to save people from themselves look within and find how you can best help them to understand why they may need to make a change by being an example. Show them how you have been able to make positive changes in your own live and lead them in making changes as well without holding their hand every step of the way.
Aquarius The Star
The light at the end of the tunnel, the silver lining, the guiding light of the North Star. Whatever you want to call it, the sign of hope that you’ve been looking for in a particularly dark or dreary situation is finally going to come to you this week. The important part is going to be keeping your eyes and your heart open to hearing and seeing the signs and then following them. It’s easy to be so blinded by the darkness that when the light starts to shine in that we automatically want to close our eyes from its bright intrusion. It is definitely time for a change and there’s no reason to feel too proud to accept whatever help comes your way this week to help make those positive changes take root.

This week you might find yourself presented with two very unique and opposing opportunities, especially with regards to work or creative projects. Which one to take is going to depend on which one is going to give you the best chance to really express yourself and shine creativity, especially if it means that you have the chance to truly express yourself. Set some time aside this week for personal intellectual pursuits as well. When’s the last time you read a book just for the sake of it? Keep your mind as sharp as you can and you’ll shine no matter what you’re presented with.
