Today’s angel message once again comes from the Angels Gods & Goddesses
Angel of Union
“A partnership is blessed and destined for greatness.”
As I look at the card in the deck for this image the one thing that stands out the most for me is the white dove that creates a canopy over the two figures in the foreground of the image. The dove is what speaks to me the most today and that message is one which is a reminder about how much peace between two people matters in order to see thing accomplished. You and another person, be it friend, family, life partner or even a business partner, can have a great deal of care and respect for one another but if there is no peace to guide you in your union then nothing can really come of it. This can be difficult at times and just as much as we may love one another we can also have moments of great frustration that, if left unchecked, can become viscous and heavy emotions that can suck the real life out of any partnership.
In order to attain this greatness within whatever union in your life is most important, think today about how you create, contribute and maintain peace between you two. Is there a lack of balance of peace? Do you need to work to bring more peace into this relationship in order to feel truly united? The dove doesn’t just bring us peace but also acts as a guide, as a messenger and symbol of the Divine guidance and Divine peace that we all have access to. If we can only close our eyes, clear our heads, and truly listen from the heart rather than from the head we can find the messages of peace and guidance that will bring us to our ultimate greatness. Honor each other, honor the Divine, and bring love and peace into all you do together.

Tonight’s Angel Message

Today the angels decided they wanted to come out and play at night. It was a tough day getting on track and getting things in order for working on an angel message and it was clear that there was something else that they angels wanted me to focus on, but they have jumped up and decided they still want to share their message for today with you all. Angel of Relaxation
“Let go of desired outcomes and you will get what you want”
The thing that strikes me first about this card is the coloring and how it looks like a woman’s face bathed in blue evening light with glistening touches of silvery moonlight dancing off her face and her hair. In the image her third eye is covered with a white ball of flame and her physical eyes are closed. This lends a lot of energy to this message about letting go.
So we’ve talked before about the “Let go let God/Goddess” and the need to detach from things from time to time in order to actually achieve what we’re after. We so often find ourselves so heavily invested in the outcome of something that we aren’t able to really advance and make anything happen because if the very thing we want can’t manifest in the way we want it to then we have no interest in seeing what will come to pass. We’ve all been there and that’s just part of the human condition; we want what we want and we want it now. This is where the angels and the Gods come into the picture. They can remind us that if we let go of expectations we can often see that what we really need is different from what we wanted and what we needed will come through.
The Angel of Relaxation is here to remind you that you need to relax and let go and make way for energy to move and for things to manifest. In the image the woman closes her eyes and by doing this, letting go of the physical world in front of her, her third eye is able to open and take flight. She is able to gain new information and new understanding by not being so attached to the physical and the desired and instead can really hear and see things from a deeper level. If there is something that you find yourself worried about, stressed about, or becoming overly invested in an outcome it may be time to sit back, close your eyes, and let yourself inner sight rule things for a bit.
Take the time in meditation this evening to consider something that has you so attached to the “real world” outcome that you have become clouded in how you feel about things on a deeper level. If you find that something has you drained, this could be another opportunity to step back and let another form of wisdom take over and help you. Close your eyes, set your intent to let your third eye chakra open, and ask what it is that you really need to know and what it is that you truly need to gain from this experience or situation. Don’t focus on what you want, but be open to discovering what it is that you truly need. You’ll likely be amazed how different yet similar the two may be. You may very well find that, when you’re done, you don’t feel that attachment to the outcome anymore and instead you have become more trusting and comfortable in knowing the Gods and the Universe will give you all you can handle and all that you need.

The angels have been quite for me the last few days, or it could just be that I’ve been so busy working that I haven’t been listening! This is never a good state to find yourself in and it’s always good to make sure that you’re taking a little time to stop and listen to what your angels and guides have to say. So this week we’re starting out with an angel reading using my favorite of the angel decks, Angel Therapy Oracle Cards
Archangel Raphael
“The healing angel is with you, supporting your healing work.”
The message that I get today from Raphael when we’re talking about this card is one of really being open to exploring the different forms that healing can take. Healing doesn’t have to be something traditional like seeing a doctor or therapist, and it doesn’t have to mean new age or metaphysical healing like Reiki healing or crystal therapy. Healing with the angels can be something as simple as taking a walk outside with a mindfulness of connecting to healing for any purpose or even just taking some time out for ourselves can be greatly healing. We often find ourselves thinking that if something is supposed to be healing we need to be in an active healing process, but with the angels, especially working with Raphael, we just need to set the intention and ask for the healing and he will begin the process for us. Our biggest part is to live in accord and let that energy flow within and around us.
If you have a need for healing in your life today is a great day to begin the process of welcoming that healing by connecting to Raphael and asking for him to connect with you through that stream of divine healing energy and light that we all have the ability to tap into. You may know it as Reiki or you may just know it as the power of mindful prayer. Whatever way you know of this loving, healing energy, ask Raphael to help facilitate your connection to it and then welcome it by living in a way that really allows the healing to come in and do its thing. If you are asking for healing for something specific you want to be sure that you’re not doing things that would aggravate or worsen the condition while the healing connection is happening. You can’t expect to have relief from a nagging cough or respiratory infection if you smoke a pack a day! When you ask the angels to help you need to also be willing to help yourself by working with them by making room for them to do their job.

Today we’re back to working with my favorite, the “Angels, Gods and Goddesses” deck. With working the cards in the way that I do, sometimes cards pop out and come up in odd and interesting ways. Today’s card had decided to sort of stick itself up from the back while I wasn’t looking and begged to be pulled. When I pulled it and turned the card I felt a nice sense of confirmation since I have been getting started on a new spiritual path, in a sense, with a new course of magickal study. With the moon being just rounding it’s peak and being in Pisces, this was also a nice added touch.
Goddess of the Sacred Path
“Let go of logic and trust your intuition.”
Letting go of our logical mind and letting our intuition step ahead and take control can be a little scary for us, especially if this is something that we normally don’t do or if we’re still venturing out into the realm of working with our intuition. Like the saying “you can’t win if you don’t play” you also can’t know the power of your own intuition and psychic mind if you don’t use it. Letting this aspect of ourselves come out and play can be really important and can help us to build our confidence when it comes to working in a mystical or magickal way as well as with working with tarot, angel or oracle cards (should this be something you like to do). The problem is setting aside that logical mind.
One of the best ways to start working with learning to do this is to learn to feel the difference between logical mind and psychic mind. For most people this is first discovered by learning to meditate, especially learning to do guided meditation or meditations that are more of a shamanic journey. When we learning to work with these sorts of settings we have no choice but to let our magickal mind come forward and our logical mind take the back seat for the 15 or 20 minutes we’re meditating. You being to feel the difference between how the two feel on both an energetic level and even on a physical level. If you don’t have a meditation practice in place, now is the perfect time to start one! Start slow, 3 to 5 minutes a day, and then allow yourself to gradually build up to a longer session. Start with just working to clear your mind and quiet your inner voice. This is the begging of learning to set aside the logical mind. As you build up your practice, start looking for guided meditation CDs like the Celtic and Goddess meditations from Mara Freeman or find books with guided meditations that you can read through or have a friend read to you and guide you through. Michelle Skye has several books on Goddess work that include some of the best guided journeys for meeting and working with different Goddesses that I’ve ever read.
Another way to start letting your intuition come through more is to just follow your heart and not feel you have to judge and guide all that you do during the day. If you’re driving home from work and you just suddenly feel the urge to take a different route home, do it. Don’t feel you have to do things the way you usually do just because it’s routine. On more than one occasion I’ve had this happen over the years and come to find that my usual way to and from a place was backed up due to an accident or construction that I didn’t know about and by taking this other way I saved myself a lot of time and grief. You might also have the urge to suddenly call a friend you haven’t talked to in ages and when you do you come to find they are in real need of someone right now and you’re there to help them just in the nick of time. Much like any muscle the more we use it the more it works for us; the more you let your intuition take a role in your life, the stronger it will become.
Setting aside a little time today to meditate and honor your intuition will be helpful in connecting you deeper with your own divine path and allowing you to connect more with your spirit to what you truly desire. Again, the simple act of meditation and then allowing your intuition to do it’s thing without your logical intervention is the best way to do this since this is the way to truly honor your intuitive abilities.

Today I find myself extremely distracted. I’ve go so much on my mind and so many things going on in my personal life right now that I can’t seem to find the time to focus and stay on track today! It’s a feeling that I really hate, to be honest. So today I’m working hard at trying to get the tarotscopes done in a somewhat timely manner (which so far means late but not too late) and get all the other things finished that I need to before I have to leave the house tonight for another obligation. If you ever have any curiosity in what it happening with me in my personal life, something I have long said I just felt I needed to get separate from this blog (and I plan to keep doing that) you can always check out my personal blog (which is going to be updated this week as I’ve fallen behind there too…surprise!) you can visit that at “A Witch By The Sea“. So while I try and get myself together, let’s see what the angel’s have to offer as advice for today using the “Angels, Gods and Goddesses” deck.
Angel of Prayer
“Ask the Universe and the Angels for help and guidance.”
There’s a saying that you hear in a lot of Christian circles that I think we, as Pagans and other earth-based believers, could benefit from affirming every now and then. “Let go and let God.” Make it “Let go and let Goddess” if you wish, but the sentiment is still the same. We know that we have a very powerful, direct connection to the Divine and the Universe, but we often forget to let it work for us and instead feel that we need to do all the work and just ask for it’s assistance. The Divine, however you wish to see it, is there to work with you. The God and Goddess will work on your behalf in a way that the angels and the Universe necessarily can’t (you need to give the angels expressed permission where as the God and Goddess can always intervene). But we sometimes forget that, while we might want to see the Goddess come in and lend us a hand, she might not feel she needs to and thus doesn’t, leaving us feeling like we aren’t getting the help we want from the Divine. This can also sometimes put us in the position of working extra hard without the divine help that we might need.
So today, “Let go and let God/dess”. What is stressing you? What has you on edge? What has you feeling like you’re getting buried under a pile that you’ll never get out from under? Ask for the God, Goddess and/or angels to come in and lend a hand today. Ask for them to help take away stress and help with getting things done in whatever manner they can help. If there is something very specific, like a difficult decision that you need to make and you can’t pick a course of action, ask for help on that specific thing and meditate while listening for an answer or sign for your next step. The Divine, the Universe and the Angels are all there waiting to help and willing to help, but you need to let them know what you need and you need to give them room to work. Once you ask, make the space for them to do what they need to do.

Today I’m working with Doreen Virtue’s Angel Therapy deck once again. I was feeling under the weather yesterday during most of the day until early evening and wasn’t able to really work on an angel message with any coherence. Today felt like a great day to work with the therapy deck as a result.
Indigo
“The person you’re inquiring about is an “Indigo”, meaning a highly sensitive, natural-born leader.”
In the New Age community the discussion of Indigo’s is a big topic, especially when talking about children. This is when we most commonly hear the term, things like “She’s so in turn and perceptive for an 8 year old, she must be an Indigo” or “He has a hard time making friends with the other boys at school because of his sensitive Indigo personality.” The concept came about in the 1960s and 1970s when psychic and color therapist Nancy Ann Tappe began to notice a pattern in the auras and life energy colors of children being born around this time. She started to notice that the majority of children, especially those who were newborns and toddlers, had an evenly mixed blue and violet color surrounding them. In 1982 she published a book that outlined the concepts of Indigo children called “Understanding Your Life Through Color” which lead to another book specifically on Indigo’s to come out in 1988 by husband and wife New Age presenters Lee Carroll and Jan Tober called “The Indigo Children: The New Kids Have Arrived”. Since then Tappe has identified four different types of Indigo personalities, Humanist, Artist, Conceptualists, and Catalysts, along with a total of 17 traits to identify an Indigo.
A lot of criticism has come about over the subject, especially in the later 80s and early 90s when just about every child was being diagnosed with ADD or ADHD. With some of the traits for an Indigo being similar to behaviors common in children with these disorders it was often suggested that parents either didn’t properly treat their children and their possible medical conditions because they felt these were just the way their children expressed their Indigo personalities and yet other parents who were having their children treated by doctors and with medication tried to stress the Indigo personality issue with their children to, as some have suggested, make their children but more importantly themselves, feel better about the diagnosed medical condition. Many people have put the issue of Indigo’s to the test saying that the traits described are far too general and could really describe anyone, especially if they are in the least bit spiritual or creative. But on the flip side it is interesting to see that with the time frame that the Indigo personality began to be identified and expressed with purpose and the children born at that time, who are now adults and taking leadership roles in the world, all leading us into 2012 when we shift into the Age of Aquarius again, it leaves some very interesting things to consider and look at.
Whether or not you believe in the concept of Indigo’s isn’t so much the important message here as it is the general concept behind them. The angels message here is brought out through the message of the Indigo and that is “stand up, have confidence, take charge”. We can find that we let our imaginations run wild and we talk ourselves out of some of the great things that we might wish to do because we worry that the world is going to think we’ve lost our minds if we share our ideas and dreams. We need to spend less time worrying about what the world around us is thinking and more time focused on doing what we want to do, accomplishing what we wish to accomplish in this lifetime. Today is a great day to sit and connect with your angels, guides and Divine helpers and ask for guidance and strength in doing just that. Is there a specific dream or goal that you have that you wish to work on but you have some worry about bringing that out to the world? Ask for their help in making it happen and in giving you the strength to do what you wish to do. Don’t let the projections and fears of others hold you back or keep you from fulfilling your goals and being the leader you were born to be.

Today’s message comes again from the “Angels, Gods and Goddess” deck which I love so much. 
Goddess of the Earth
“An idea connected to imagination, creativity and nature is coming your way.”
Some of the best ideas that we might ever have can come from odd or out of the ordinary encounters with nature. A walk in the woods, sitting and looking at the clouds, even a day at the beach and stir our hearts and minds, and especially our spirits, in a way that nothing else can. The problem with this, however, comes with the fact that we don’t always listen to nature. Nature, especially in our highly electronic age, is something that is just sort of there. It lives and breaths and goes through its cycles virtually unnoticed by most people, even some of us good meaning Pagan and earth-minded folks can fall prey to the busy daily lives we life and forget to always stop and acknowledge the beauty of the changing seasons and the specific changes happening in our neighborhoods.
Today provides an opportunity to connect to nature to feed the creative spirit. Go for a walk this evening in an area that provides opportunities to connect to nature whether it’s by the beach or a lake or out in the woods (if it’s safe, of course). But here is the challenge. Don’t bring your iPod. Don’t distract yourself from nature during your walk. Focus on the trees, the ground, the sky above. Feel the heartbeat of nature around you and connect to that as you walk through its space. Open yourself up to hearing the messages and feeling the energy that the earth has to offer and let this bring forward whatever messages, ideas or information that the spirits of the earth have to give. Bring an offering of fruit, wine or juice, just a small amount, and leave it somewhere for the Goddess of the Earth, Gaia, Mother Nature. Thank her for being the ultimate sustenance in your life, both physical and spiritual.

While taking a moment to tune into the angels this morning I was shown the image of stars, stars of all sizes and colors. It was interesting to see that the card that came through for today has stars as one of the main focal points with four different stars. Stars can symbolize a number of different things based on tradition and usage. Some of the common representations include achievement, power, authority, and ranking which we see through its use on emblems, flags and coat of arms. When we talk about stars in a spiritual sense we see it as a guiding light, a symbol of the divine. In the Craft we have the star in the form of the pentacle as one of our most sacred spiritual symbols, not only as a symbol of the divine itself but also as a symbol of protection. Seeing the stars in this message today adds a lot of deeper, interesting messages.
Sachiel
Prosperity
Sachiel is the angel of wealth and prosperity. His name means ” the covering of God”. Sachiel is one of the angels that has been adopted by new age practitioners as an angel to call on when in times of poverty or when the need for financial good fortune is needed. He is associated with the planet Jupiter, the planet of luck and good fortune, and he is said to have ruling power over the day of Thursday. Sachiel can be called on for help with business matters, investments and banking issues as well.
Sachiel comes to us today with a message about prosperity and reminds us about how we work with the concepts of money, good luck and fortune. I am told Sachiel that one aspect that he feels drawn to connect with now is that of the Law of Attraction. In the past this wasn’t a message that was as widely important as it is today and Sachiel takes this under his wings and comes to us with messages of how important it is for us to be part of our prosperity. The way we approach money, finances and good fortune dictate how it comes to us and how it thrives or dies in our lives. We can have nothing and still feel abundantly rich just as we can have all the money we could ever need and feel horribly poor. How we receive is all in how we perceive.
Today Sachiel reminds us to rethink when it comes to money. If we look in our wallets and see we only have $5 and we don’t know where our next $5 is going to come from, rather than feel like we’ll never have enough, trust that you will find a way and that the resources you need will come to you. If you have $1,000 in the bank be grateful and know that there is someone out there that would love to be where you are right now rather than feeling like you’d rather see your balance with a few more zeros attached. Be grateful and thankful for what you have and know that by showing this gratitude to the Universe you will always be open to receiving more. When you work in the opposite manner, approaching money from the perspective of worry and feeling like it’s never enough, this is when you’ll find that the Universe may not be so opening to giving you more if you can’t appreciate what you already have.

Once again today I’m back to exploring the possibilities of the “Ask An Angel” deck. I can’t say enough about how interesting this deck is. Some of the cards are really bold, bright and vibrant while others are clearly more basic and simple but call on a whole other aspect of our intuitive side. I also feel like this deck, the more I work with it and meditate on the cards that come up when using it, I feel like this is a nice, gentle deck to help introduce the more Pagan or Wiccan minded to working with the angels and the Archangels specifically. I know that it’s hard for some to accept working with the angels, but I think this deck would make a great way to get introduced to them since there are a lot of other cards mixed in with an earthy feel. So let’s see what the angels have for us for today.
Samael
The Shadow Shelf
Samael is a fallen angel that seems to be greatly misunderstood depending on who you talk to and what mythologies you read. His name translates to either “poison of God” or “venom of God”. In the Hebrew translations of his name one of the important aspects that is often pointed to is the fact that his name ends with “el” which means “of God”. So while he is an angel death and destruction, he is still a messenger of God. While Samael is sometimes mistaken for being another representation of Satan, he and Satan are not one in the same even though they are both seen in Christian mythology as fallen angels. Samael may be seen as an angel to fear by some but he is a reflection of our shadow self and he can also represent the temptation that can be found in this aspect of ourselves. This makes him less something to be feared and more someone that, if approached in the right way, can be a strong ally.
The Shadow Self, as presented by the angels and Samael, comes through today as a reminder that even though we may find ourselves coming into contact with the shadow aspects of ourselves it does us no good to ignore it. It can be really difficult to have to face and work with our shadow aspects and our full Shadow Self, but by doing this, by facing fears within and dealing with the aspects of ourselves that are less than desirable, and possibly even ugly, we are able to truly learn more about who we are and find some of out deepest strengths. There is a great deal of knowledge hidden in these aspects of ourselves, but we have to be willing to put ourselves out there in a vulnerable way to gain that knowledge.
Today to a little time to meditate on what may be happening in your life that is bringing the shadow aspects of your own personality into light for you. Remember, the world around us is often a mirror that reflects back things within ourselves that need to be addressed. When we find a particular quality in another person horribly irritating, making it difficult for us to deal with in a logical or rational way, it is often just a way for the Universe to remind us that we too have similar qualities and we may bring up the same feels for other people. What might the Universe be reflecting back to you right now and what aspects of your Shadow Self have you no opened up to? In sacred space and in meditation open up a dialog with your Shadow Self and truly listen to what it has to say to you and see what bits of wisdom you are able to gain from being willing to listen to the darker side of yourself.
Remember that even in the aspect of destroyer or Angel of Death, Samael can be the ally you may need to destroy and kill an aspect of your Shadow Self that could be holding you back. Instead of fearing this power, work with it and transform your life.

Today we’re back working with the “Angels, Gods and Goddesses” deck. Today’s energy with the angels seems calm and the angels are calling for us to look up to the sky today, watch the clouds and take a minute to feel alive. When we get so caught up in living our lives from a mundane perspective we forget about the spiritual side of things and the power that this energy, the life force that runs through all things, has over us and how working with it can help us overcome just about anything.
God of Spiritual Healing
“An aspect of you or a situation in your life is in need of healing.”
There are things around us that go unnoticed every day, part of that can be the spiritual healing needs of our own selves and those around us. We focus so much on trying to deal with things in practical terms, often because we might be dealing with people around us that may not be on the same level as we are spiritually, and we miss an opportunity to truly address our issues and relationships at a soul level. One way that we can work from a more spiritual level with those difficult situations and relationships is to look for the angel, the divine aspect, within each person and each situation. If we treat everyone we have to deal with, especially when they’re hard to deal with, as though they are spiritual reflections of something within us we will be able to find a way to deal with them with grace and ease.
One way that we can do this is to stop and take time each day to live. Feel alive, feel our auras growing and changing, feel and balance our chakras. Sometimes we get so caught up in things like work, responsibilities, money and family that we don’t always take the time to really live. If we feel more balanced and connected to the spirit of live around us, healing the situations in our lives spiritual are much easier. The simple act of watching the clouds, observing the spirit in the world around us, can help bring us into balance more. Take the divine energy that you connect to around you and within you and use it to heal these situations in your life.

For today’s message I felt drawn to bring out my favorite angel deck, Doreen Virtue’s “Angel Therapy” deck. As I was tuning into my Guides and my angels I couldn’t get Isaac Bonewits and his declining condition off of my mind, so for today the angels have asked to dedicate today’s message to Isaac, for Phaedra, his wonderful wife, and all his friends, family, and members of the occult and Pagan community who he has touched over the years. May we all take something away from today’s message.
Vacuum Away Fear
“Call upon Archangels Michael and Raphael to life fear-based energy from you, your surrounds, this situation, and everyone involved.”
Dealing with the loss of a loved one or someone who has touched our lives in some way can be a really difficult situation to deal with, no matter how much time we have had to prepare for it. The angels always sense that fear and they surround us with love and light and extra energy during these especially difficult times. We can often sense a lull in our sadness and fear when this happens and we often don’t know why it is that we all of a sudden feel calm, at peace and as though everything is okay once more. This is the work of the angels removing the fears that keep us from enjoying the last moments with our loved one and honoring them fully. It’s hard to truly honor someone, their spirit and their life, when we are engrossed in sadness and fear, a sadness and fear that usually is all about us and moving forward without this person in our daily, physical lives as opposed to fear for them and their transition.
The angels are here today to remind us that in any situation, whether the passing of loved one, the fear of dealing with a difficult situation or life transition of any kind, they are here to help remove the fear so that we can be in the moment to learn, live and enjoy the experience, even a difficult one. If there is something that you are having a hard time facing or dealing with because of fear, call on the angels, especially Michael and Raphael, the protector and the healer, to guide you and guard you through the fog that you may find yourself in. As for your chakras to be aligned and cleared, releasing fear and trepidation, and move forward with you challenges, ready to experience all you can from it.

Once again we look to the “Ask An Angel” oracle deck for our first message of the week. Today’s message, which often sets the tone for the whole week, came falling out of the deck while I communicated with my Guides and put the intentions for today in place. When the cards just pop up we always stop to take a little extra notice of their messages. With this card, we need to take extra care of ourselves this week.
Archangel Raphael
Health
Archangel Raphael is one of the undisputed favorites among angel lovers. His name translates to “God Heals”. In scripture he is seen as the healing hands of God, so to speak, coming down to earth to help heal those in need and to teach the healing arts to those who need to know such skills in order to help others. Many who work with the angels believe that Raphael was sent to be the guide for all healers and to help keep a balance within the realm of health and sickness among human-kind. Today many people that work with alternative healing, including practices like Reiki, draw on and call in the energy and aid of Archangel Raphael to guide them in their practice. Raphael is seen also known as the “Divine Physician” and when a divine hand is needed in healing or treatment of a disease, he is the one to call on for energy and guidance.
Here in this card, the card of health, Archangel Raphael comes forward to remind us that our connection to the earth helps to balance our own physical health as well. When we are out of balance with the earth, our physical bodies, an element of the earth, also falls out of balance. The first thing that Raphael says here is that we need to make peace with our surroundings. Are you happy with where you live? Are there aspects of your environment that need to be changes to make you more at ease? Is it time to move on to a better location? As the saying goes, “location, location, location”. If we aren’t happy with our physical location and our surroundings, we can’t possibly be in harmony with the earth around us. Whether it’s something within the home, like a need for a deep springtime like cleaning or redecorating, or even if it’s as extreme as packing up and moving to another state, looking at any elements of disharmony within your location and fixing them is the first step to finding peace with the earth around you.
The next message Raphael has is that of overall balance within the physical. How has you been eating lately? How have you been feeling when you get up in the morning? Have you been spending more time sitting on the couch watching TV than you have getting some exercise? Balance between mind, body and spirit is key to overall balanced health. People often forget that you can find yourself on the other end of the extreme as well. Spending 3 hours a day in the gym and being dead tired at night and having no downtime for yourself is just as bad as never lifting a finger beyond changing the channel on the remote. The same can be said if you sleep too much or even if you eat TOO healthy! Yes, that’s right, eating too healthy. When we deny ourselves things we enjoy and desire because we believe they are “bad” for us, when we finally give in to the temptation it can be a terribly out of balance situation. So allowing yourself a little chocolate or a handful of potato chips once or twice a week in moderation is better than always saying “no” to yourself and then finally snapping and eating a whole family size bag of chips and then following it with a pint of double fudge ice cream in the middle of the night. It’s all about balance and moderation.
So today take a moment to think about your health. Where are you lacking balance and where do you need to make some changes? There are always ways for us to change and improve our health. Look into free discussions or classes at a local health food store for ideas on things you can do. Look at what sort of outdoor activities you can do with your friends or family over the coming weekend that might be great exercise but also fun and engaging at the same time, like a nature walk or a family surfing lesson. Balance is the key and today is a great day to seek ways to restore it over this week.

Today’s Angel Message

For today’s angel message I’m using a new angel deck that I haven’t actually done any reading with just yet. I haven’t been able to decide if I actually like the deck or not and I thought that if I started using it I may start connecting with it. The deck is “Ask An Angel“, another deck by Toni Carmine Salerno. This deck is a bit different from some of Salerno’s other decks, at least to me. This one comes with a guidebook that actually ends up being necessary where with most other oracle and angel decks you can easily set aside the book and work from a clairvoyant and clairaudient perspective. Here each card is based on a specific angel and a message from that angel so if you don’t know the many different angels outside of the primary archangels you’ll find that you have to refer back to book to get an understanding of that angel’s mythology in order to fully connect to the card image and the message. Ok, before this turns into a full on review, let’s see what the “Ask An Angel” deck has to share with us on this Friday.
Archangel Chamuel
Divine Justice
First let’s meet Archangel Chamuel. Chamuel’s name has two accepted meanings, that of comfort and compassion and also “He who sees God.” Much like the double edged sword that Chamuel is sometimes seen holding, he is both an angel of mercy and justice. Chamuel can give great strength in times of adversity and can offer love to those who are in need of the support this energy brings. Chamuel can lend energy and aid with relationship, especially relationships of love. When justice is needed Chamuel can come to our aid and help us to find the answers we may need during these difficult times. His main job is infusing love, strength and courage into all we do when he is called on.
Today Archangel Chamuel comes through with the message of divine justice to remind us about balance. The sword that he carries is a great symbol of balance. For a sword to be useful it needs to be well balanced so that the hand that holds it and wields it isn’t thrown off course by an unstable weight. Our lives are constantly in flux looking to fall into balance with the lives of those around us, the life of the world around us and the life of the Divine spirit around and within us. One of the keys to this balance is the love that Chamuel gives us.
Call on Chamuel and your angels and allies to help you find balance within and without today. Ask for help in finding love in all situations and seeing even the most unbalanced and difficult of situations you may face with an understanding of where it helps to lend energy to bring balance to a part of your life and know that anything that you can’t handle, any sword you can’t wield on your own, Archangel Chamuel will help you with if you simply ask.
